Stradbroke Island

Yoga – Nourishment – Wellbeing  2021

Fri 15th – Mon 18th October

4 Days of Rest, Recuperation and Nourishment on the beautiful Stradbroke Island. Enjoy time out for your self, experiencing the beauty of the surrounds, whilst reconnecting to a more balanced you.

The Retreat is offered for women and is an opportunity to go deeper into your yoga practice with time dedicated to Pranayama and Meditation. Carefully prepared meals are offered with your health and nutrition in mind as well as nourishing your soul. Plenty of time to rest, relax and restore. It is time out from the requirements of daily life and a pause to inspire us. The Retreat is a wonderful opportunity to connect to your body, quieten your mind and encourage your wellbeing.

We start the day moving inwards with meditation, offering ourselves a space of quiet presence. Be invigorated with morning yoga. The Retreat includes sessions of Restorative yoga and Pranayama to calm and relax the nervous system.

The food is mostly organic with effort to source locally and within Australia first. I aim to share my ethos of sustainability, ecologically sound and conscious eating. Above all the food  is  wholesome, healthy and delicious with thought put into enhancing your wellbeing.

The Retreat includes daily/twice daily yoga, pranayama, meditation, walks, swimming, all meals, accommodation and linen.

Responses to Stradbroke Island Retreat –

“Everything was perfect from start to finish. The varied timetable was just right, with not too many activities, nor too much free time. The beautiful accommodation and delicious menu added to the experience, and the extended yoga sessions gave a wonderful chance to deepen my practice and really switch off. Thank you!” – Megan

“The retreat was a wonderful weekend away from the normality of life. A nurturing break filled with exercise that replenished the soul. I loved the yoga, the walks, the pilates, and the delicious food which has inspired me in the kitchen on my return. Thank you Haydie for a real treat!” – Sandiellen

“Thank you Haydie, this was such a wonderful experience – restful, energising and inspiring all at the same time, if that’s possible! The food was amazing, the yoga was fantastic, the location was beautiful and I can’t wait to come back next year!” – Jane

Responses to Inspirit Day Retreat

“I loved the whole day! The reflexology was amazing – like doing two hours of meditation – as was the massage! The yoga was very relaxing and nurturing and the food was tasty and nutritious. The venue was perfect too – it had a great ambience and you felt you were in the middle of the countryside. I felt very lucky to have the chance to come along and be treated (‘restored’) for the day. Nothing could be improved – it was perfect! Thanks Haydie! :)” – Jane

“The location was lovely, the yoga was gentle and relaxing :). The food was yummy! The therapists were great, very professional and caring. Amazing – I couldn’t move afterwards – I didn’t want to move afterwards.” – Roz

“It was good to have a time to cut out “to do things” from my daily life
The setting was really beautiful
You created a very welcoming space.
The music in the background was really conducive to relax and release tension.
The pacing of the yoga and staying long in each pose also made it really restorative.
I liked the format of yoga intertwined with massage. It left me wanting more. Having a space to sit outside was also enlivening and wonderful.
The fig, the sun, nature…
The abundant and yummy food…
Your generousity of spirit

Delighted with the experience. Definitely recommend it for anyone needing some “me” time
Loved every bit of it.” – Tania
